JIM THOMPSON'S TABLE
Tokyo
The Jim Thompson brand, founded by an American dubbed “The King of Silk,” has grown from Thailand’s best-known purveyor of silk products to a global lifestyle brand offering fashion, home furnishings and cuisine. This is apparent from a visit to the Jim Thompson restaurant in Ginza, where well designed and beautifully made Thai silk items are a prominent part of the décor. The culinary experience on offer matches the elegant setting, with a menu of sophisticated and authentic Thai dishes created by a top chef imported from Thailand.

Our Story

As the first Jim Thompson restaurant to open in Japan, the eatery has a clientele of repeat customers as well as new ones. Its location in one of Tokyo’s trendiest shopping districts makes it a favorite of shoppers and area office workers. The interior, beautifully decorated in a white-based palette, exudes a resort-like atmosphere perfect for both formal and relaxed gatherings.

There is also a shop space offering an array of Jim Thompson products by the entrance. All this forms a perfect backdrop to the vibrant culinary experience on offer. If you have been to a Jim Thompson restaurant in Bangkok and miss the dishes on the menu there, you will be happy to know that the same are available here and are no less authentic than the Bangkok versions. If you are a first-time customer, a meal here serves as a perfect entry into the world of Jim Thompson.
